12th November 2009 Windsurfing: Spray Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: wavey Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: ok Weather: grey Max Speed: Distance Covered: Very enjoyable time at Spray with PaulP and a few other slackers. Pretty perfect 5.7m conditions although it picked right up to the top end of it as it began to get dark. Didn't pull off any slick moves, but my head is definitely in 'improvement' space and I was trying all sorts including loops. The sail rotation seems much smoother no, but I'm leaving the board behind - someone remind me what I'm doing wrong for that to be happening. In fairness, the conditions weren't great for loops as it was more on than cross, but there were the occasional very big ramps and the last half hour had some quite nice waves too. Great fun session - just a shame everyone buggered off at 3.30, so I felt it was sensible to come in. Could've squeezed another hour of light I reckon |
